Story Mode: On the run
We start with Kona on the run. From who, from what? We don’t have time for that .. yet. All Kona has is a rusty ol’ boat on loan that’s barely keeping up. In it he found a ticket parking spot in a yacht club in the swamps. He’s heard of this place, from apes he’s met all over. It’s legendary for its discretion, a safe haven of sorts.

Story mode: At the yacht club
Most patrons keep to themselves, the drinks are cold and the valet service is excellent. Sometimes an ex-military ape like me can even get some work around here. But hey, anything to help out a fellow ape. Started as just regular muscle after the war; but I had a few skills that were in scarce supply. Somehow it became known that I did some intelligence work during my stint at the army.

Meta commentary
Kona’s longer term plans are revealed. There is a reason why he came here and what he needs to do next:
break an old friend out of prison.This phase is a great setup for future adventures. The yacht club is a way stop for all in the BAYC ecosystem; can use this as a launching point for almost anything.
Kona’s main goal here is to recruit, he is looking for a specific collection of talent to go on a mission. He doesn’t have any coin to his name; he’s looking for work to get paid and to find others through these shared jobs. Kona is builds a reputation in this time.
This is a place for other characters to be the hero in their own story and have Kona be a part of it and play a supporting role.
